Is this course accredited?
Yes this course is fully accredited by Active IQ and is a REPs UAE and CIMSPA (UK) endorsed qualification. This qualification maps internationally to all ICREPS registers.
How long will it take me to qualify as a Gym Instructor?
Our course typically takes between 4-6 weeks to qualify. You can qualify in a shorter timeframe and you have up to 1 year to complete the certificate.
What will I learn on the Gym Instructor course?
We deliver the latest Active IQ Gym Instructing qualification and you will cover the following units: Anatomy and physiology, professionalism and customer care for fitness instructors, conducting client consultations to support positive behaviour change, health and safety in the fitness environment, planning and instructing gym-based exercise.
How will I be assessed?
This course combines written assessments with practical assessments on the gym floor. You will be provided an extensive online platform that provides all resources, templates and examples on how to confidently pass all assessments. This platform also includes a recorded theory based webinars and a video library. You will also complete 1 multiple choice exam online. There is no additional fee for re submissions and you are able to be re assessed unlimited amounts.

Do I need any prior qualifications to study the Gym Instructor course?
No. There are no prior qualifications needed to enrol onto this course, however a good level of English is required.

Yes. All of our Gym Instructing courses are delivered by Active IQ which is an internationally recognised course. You are also able to become a member of REPs UAE, and this will allow portability to join any exercise professional register in the world.
